Abbie Shepherd
Over the past ten years, Abbie Shepherd has emerged as a preeminent force in Atlanta real estate. Despite entering the industry on the dawn of the worst market in 75 years, Abbie’s rise to the top has been both explosive and inspiring. Abbie presently owns and operates Abbie Agent, LLC under the brokerage of Keller Williams.
While she had planned her path for some time, Abbie’s entry into real estate would prove unforeseen to the casual onlooker. In December 2004, Abbie graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Physics. While her stellar academics and 3.96 GPA suggested a life of science, Abbie discovered a passion for architecture and urban planning. Although graduate school on a full scholarship might have appeared a comfortable option, Abbie instead sought the challenge of building a growing a business in real estate.
Resolved in her career choice, Abbie hung her license with Keller Williams Intown Atlanta. Her success was immediate. In her first year, Abbie was awarded “Rookie of the Year” for 2006. In the following years, Abbie exceeded her early promise by achieving consistent annual sells from 4.5 and 18 million a year – this despite the 2007 mortgage meltdown and “Great Recession” that continues to plague the world economy. In both 2008 and 2009, Keller Williams recognized Abbie on a national level for her sales performance within the company. She has been on the list of top sales agents in her office from 2008 to current. A perennial member of the Million Dollar Club, Abbie continues to thrive in a difficult market.
In 2007 established Abbieagent LLC and began building a team. Abbie has a history of working in leadership positions, managing teams, setting goals, teaching skills, working with others to achieve a higher level of production and efficiency. In 2012, Abbie helped charter the Keller Williams Luxury division in Atlanta.
With such a successful Real Estate career as a Residential Realtor selling new, resale, and distressed property, Abbie still stays connected to the force that brought her here – urban planning. She is now serving her seventh term as a member of the NPU-B board that oversees Buckhead, E. Chastain, and Brookhaven. She is also a member of the City Club of Buckhead, the Buckhead Business association, Atlanta Business Leaders, and numerous other networking groups throughout the Atlanta area.
